Art on the Farm... Annual Group Show 2009; Pt. Reyes Vineyard

Well, it's been a long time since I've had time to post here, but I finally have some amazing photos to share from last year's October group show at the Pt. Reyes Vineyard Inn and Winery. It was a lovely day, and some of the artist's hung paintings outside on the ranch fence. It was gorgeous to look at. My favorite new images were by artist, Kanna Aoki. I thought she did some amazing large canvas work, and really loved photographing her pieces! I hope you will enjoy viewing the set on Flickr; click here to view.

Art on the Farm Weekly...Bolinas Gallery Photos

We had a great opening on the 7th at the Bolinas Gallery, at the end of Wharf Road, which is the way to "Surfer's Beach"... This day just happened to coincide with 20 foot swells at the beach, so it was amazingly crowded! A successful opening, a few pieces were sold, and many great compliments on the show. We hope that people will come out to purchase Holiday gifts. There are items from $4.00. up to several hundreds of dollars. Cards, prints, photos, and paintings. Come out to see the surfers, check out the tide pools at Agate Beach, get your seafood, and buy art! Now through November 30th, 2009.

Art on the Farm Weekly... October 25, 2009; Annual Group Show at Point Reyes Vineyards!

This weekend, Sunday, October 25th is the Annual Harvest Celebration of Art on the Farm at the Pt. Reyes Vineyards. This is the show were everyone involved, well over 100 artists, show up and share their art. Many of the paintings are hung on hay bales! It is really fun and festive to see. I hope we get a lovely day with warm sun shining on the vineyards. I may even paint on Sunday if the weather permits. Of course, there are always wine and oysters to warm you up if it is chilly. Art on the Farm Weekly... 2009 Fall Shows in Pt. Reyes Station

"Art on the Farm" has two group shows this Fall, with an opening tomorrow, September 15th in downtown Pt. Reyes Station at the local Library. This show has been curated by Manon Sander, an award winning artist from Mill Valley, CA. (A cow painting, "L Ranch Traffic Jam" by Manon from the San Geronimo Valley show is pictured, above. Our yearly, group show is coming up in October at the Pt. Reyes Vineyard and Winery, also in Pt. Reyes Station, but just out of town, located on Rt. 1, overlooking the Tomales Bay. A great day trip and a wonderful outdoor show that is partially displayed on haybales that is not to be missed, with local oysters and wine.
