Liz Daniels and Family have invited us to come make art outside, all day, any time on September 30th. They have a new parking lot on their ranch (due to all those weddings they are hosting!). So please come out and paint, photograph and enjoy the rolling hills, cattle and vistas at:

(First dirt road on the Right after the Nicasio School... follow dirt road slowly (look out for cows) through the gates until you see arched farm sign and gate for Cow Track Ranch).

If and when you do become a member of Marin Organic, we will feature your art in a featured post on our blog here at Art on the Farm .com. A great way to share your work with the online world, promote a show or event you are having, and encourage others to do the same. (Please email your promotional materials with a copy of your Marin Organic Membership receipt to farmartpr@gmail.com to be included in a post on our blog, Facebook and Twitter accounts(we have over 1,000 followers on Twitter- Thanks, Twitter Friends!)

Why?
As a group, we get to experience the joy of visiting Marin Organic lands and making art outside. We give back at least 50% of any art we sell at our exhibits to Marin Organic. We support our local producers and love being a part of sharing their work and mission with all.

Marin Organic Art Auction 2013... Coming soon!

At this time of year, we usually have our group show of our work to share our creations and good spirits while making a few dollars to fund our art and the projects of Marin Organic.

This year, the new Executive Director of Marin Organic, Jeffrey Westman, and one of their terrific volunteers on board, would like to offer an online auction via "Bidding for Good" with our art work for sale in lieu of a gallery show. This is an exciting opportunity to provide all of us with more exposure and possibility for sales to online members of Marin Organic that may have never had the opportunity to visit one of our shows in person.

If you would like to participate, please follow the directions below to email your work for sale by this Friday, November 22nd at midnight.  As we have 135 members, I am asking that each artist only send 1 piece of art for the auction at this time.  If it goes well and work sells, you will be notified to send more images.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPATING ARTISTS:

Email everything in ONE email only to:

Marin Organic Art Auction 2013
by Friday, Nov 22 at midnight

1.  Your Name
2.  Your website link (please send again even if I have it already)
3.  Title, Medium, Size
4.  Marin Organic location it was inspired by, and any "Story" you'd like to tell about your farm visit... 3-5 sentences max
5.  Price (50% to Marin Organic)
6.  Email a jpg image of your work between 1-3 megabytes in size
7.  Please make sure the image is clear, color corrected and looks fabulous.  If you have different angles of the artwork, ie... the image close up and the image on the wall, with a frame on it... please do send up to 3 angles of the art.  Do not send these images if they don't look great... Please, only send your best photo or photos.  1 great image is better than 3 that are not great.

Art may be delivered to Marin Organic in Pt. Reyes Station if sold, or you may arrange to deliver the art to the buyer directly.  This part is flexible, but Jeffrey has told us he does have room to store the art at Marin Organic if you would like to bring it there.
